Muscle Pain - Neem Oil

Hi,

Thought I would let you know of some success I have had with the use of Neem Oil. I had picked up some leaflets from a local craft fair & filed them for future reference.

About a couple of years ago I was experiencing a nasty stabbing pain in the middle part of my right thigh. This I had put down to either the over use of an exercise bike or the fact that our newly acquired ( & very overweight ) cat had taken this leg as a useful resting place whilst I was watching television.

The pain was intermittent & random & did not occur whilst I was indulging in either of these activities. The pain was very short lived but was just as if a knitting needle was being inserted into my thigh.

Needless to say the cat was banished to his cushion & the exercise bike was banished to the cellar. Unfortunately there was no improvement, so in desperation I turned to Neem Oil which had claimed to banish muscular pains. I consulted the company & they suggested Neem Massage oil, which I massaged into the affected area.

In less than a week all pain had disappeared & I was able to resume use of the exercise bike.

I had no further pain until about 3 months ago. I put the on set of this new pain to some heavy work I had been doing in the garden; plus some over indulgence on the exercise bike in a forlorn attempt to get fit for our beach holiday. Again Neem Oil has come to the rescue & so far I have not had a recurrence.

The same oil has been successfully used by my 82 year old mother in-law, on her upper arm, which she had been unable to lift above shoulder height. Already her pain has subsided significantly & she has greater mobility,despite the fact that she only applied the oil once a day rather than twice a day as recommended. The oil does have a rather strong aroma which my mother-in-law was worried about when she went out. I don't have the same concerns!

We have a third success with Neem Oil; but this time it is with pure 100% Neem Oil, as opposed to the massage oil, which is a blend of Neem Oil & other essential oils such as Eucalyptus & Cedar. My youngest daughter had been suffering from teenage spots on her back. She applied ( or rather her mother ) applied the oil every night for a week or so until all her spots had cleared up. So far they have not returned.

Neem oil seems to have succeeded where expensive high street proprietary products had failed.
