Herbal Natural Anxiety Remedy
Herbal Natural Anxiety Remedy...Natural, and free from unpleasant side effects... Try herbal natural remedies for anxiety for a very effective way to relax, and soothe away your worries and anxieties.... If you are constantly anxious, it is a horrible, debilitating feeling, which stops you getting on with your normal, everyday life… This is such a waste, so it really makes sense to get help, with a natural anxiety remedy… Perhaps you only get problems with anxiety once in a while - perhaps before a specific event: - an interview
- an airplane trip
- public speaking
- a visit to the dentist
A natural anxiety remedy can help here too…It is worth looking at lifestyle and diet, as an anxiety natural remedy, but most effective is a herbal natural anxiety remedy.
How to Use a Herbal Natural Anxiety Remedy
- Anti-anxiety herbs are very effective – in fact, just as effective as more conventional treatments.
- It is for this reason, that you should take a little care when choosing herbal natural remedies for anxiety.
- People’s responses to anti-anxiety, relaxing herbs, is very individual - so you do need to approach a natural anxiety remedy with a little caution.
- This doesn’t mean you should be scared of using a natural anxiety remedy, though …. just aware! Used sensibly, these herbs are very safe and mostly free of unpleasant side effects.
- Do not mix a herbal anxiety natural remedy with conventional treatments, or stop taking your prescribed medication to switch to herbal treatments…
- Switching to a natural anxiety remedy can be done – but do it under the guidance of your healthcare provider.
- Anti-anxiety herbs are all very effective, but some are more powerful than others.
- Your own individual reaction can vary too. Some people relax with one small dose of very mild anti-anxiety herbs, but for others, it can take several doses of the most powerful.
- Because of the potentially strong, sedating effects of this type of herb, you should be very careful.
- Try out the effects of the herb in a safe environment (preferably before the event causing anxiety, if you want to use it for a specific occasion). And assess your reaction.
- Start with a small dose, and pay attention to the way your body reacts. You can take another dose as soon as every 2 hours, if you need to, and if you are not becoming overly sedated.
- The anti-anxiety herbs do mix together well. But do not mix them together with conventional anti-anxiety medication (except under the supervision of your doctor).
- If you have severe, or long term anxiety, use herbs as a natural anxiety remedy every day.
- If you want to use anti-anxiety herbs for a specific event, take your choice of herb as a natural anxiety remedy, (after trying it out in a controlled environment first) around 1 hour to a half hour before the ‘event’.

Valerian
- Valerian must be the strongest natural anxiety remedy.
- It works in a very similar way to Valium - but without the nasty side effects, or physical addiction.
- Do be aware, though, if you take Valerian regularly, you may become convinced that you can’t relax without it, and may develop a psychological addiction.
- It is best to save this herb for occasional use only.
- Valerian is also used regularly as a sleep aid - in this case, take a dose 1 hour before bedtime.
- If you want to use Valerian as a relaxing, anti-anxiety herb, take a dose (as tincture or capsules) up to once every 2 hours during the day.
- You can also make a Valerian tea:
- Use 1 teaspoon of dried Valerian root in a cupful of hot water
- Cover, and steep for 10 minutes
- Strain, and drink up to 3 cups per day
- To make it taste nicer, mix 1 teaspoon of dried valerian root with 1 teaspoon of fresh mint leaves, in a cupful of hot water
- Steep for 15-20 minutes
- Strain and drink up to 3 cups per day
- Caution: For around 10% of people, Valerian has the opposite effect, and causes restlessness and anxiety (I am one of this 10%). If this happens to you, just discontinue use.
